Dr. Agnes Gere is an ob.gyn who has been providing home birth services for more than 20 years. Since then, she has been sitting in prison.

We sympathize with efforts to protect a family’s right to decide how they want their children born into this world, including safe home child birth assisted by qualified natural birth practitioners. We are apalled at the archaic treatment that mid-wives and those who wish to help mothers deliver their babies at home receive, such as the inquisition style brutality being imposed upon Dr. Agnes Gereb. As a father who helped his wife bring forth the last six of our ten babies at home, I understand deeply the importance of this issue of human rights violation. My book “Adventures In Home Birthing” reveals my feelings on this matter, and I look forward to your june 21st posts to share some of my thoughts on the Divine Rights that God allows for us to govern our birthing actions by.
